However, SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint , let's be clear. South Africa has yet to take the final step and relinquish its nuclear material, which it refuses to do. Many countries go a long way to saying they will denuke and many take, easy, reversible steps on that path, but final, verifiable, irreversible denuclearization remains elusive in many places of the globe. And that's both sad and scary at the same time.
