As a conservative, this interview is part of a two part series and was very enlightening. Ken Stern's transformation into a new conservative started when he acknowledged he lived in a bubble and didn't understand the other side (ie conservatives). He started to step outside of his bubble and was amazed at what he learned. Maybe more of us need to step outside our comfort zones and then maybe we'll "make America Great Again" and maybe sanely non-polarized as well. Shae and discuss. Yes, very interesting, and it gives me hope that we can recognize our own pre-disposed biases and have a conversation with those we disagree without getting all irate and name calling. Recognizing we disagree and trying to NARROW the point of disagreement, rather than broaden it to an all encompassing "you suck", "no, you suck" argument.
