It seems to me that, under the Obama Administration, "Political Forces" were granted access to compartmentalized intelligence sources to use against their "Political Foes". They know its only a matter of time before their access is pulled and are illegally using it for all its worth. But what really terrifies them is the knowledge that the new President and his staff now have access and control of those same sources and they just might use them in the same way they have. To quote the old Klingon Proverb "Revenge is a dish best served cold."
