Most of the governments have changed leaders and in some cases political parties or will do so shortly in Europe. Germany hasn't yet. I doubt Obama still has the influence he did as President or that anyone is really listening to Obama and his minions anymore in Europe. His administration is going to go down in history as similar to President Carter in foreign and domestic policy, just a few more years of Trump to contrast against and historians will rate Obama in the proper context instead of using George W Bush as a context......so will the Europeans. The Obama administration is headed for a major historical downgrade and most of them know it by now. Fitting punishment for always taking the easy path of pen and phone.....if you ask me.

It may not be patriotism, but it definitely isn't treason. Treason is very specifically defined in Article III of the Constitution, and this ain't it.
