For all of those that complain law enforcement officers are never held accountable when they break the law, file this one somewhere you can recall it more easily. There will be no riots in the streets protesting the outcome of the trial. By all accounts, he appeared to be guilty and was convicted accordingly.

I think that it was a matter of intent rather than training. I and the court think it was intentional murder and that is what he pled guity to. How would training have prevented an intentional murder?

Yes you are right then I will say he did not need to be a LO and still lacked training and other thing he could have done to not shoot calling for back up I don't know the story but why did he even stop him I have a few friends on the force never talk about it. If intent on what you can't shoot someone just because your mad hell I would be in jail

This is really only half the news story and only reporting on the actions of the White Officer on the scene after the shooting. You might also want to Google and read up on what the African American officer on the scene did or did not do. No charges so far against him, yet lots of Liberal second guessing on him via other publications and even some Liberal publications supplying justifications for his behavior in this incident and past incidents of Police brutality. So I wonder if this case is really closed or is there still a problem officer on the force. Also, curious why HP author choose to clip around that part of the news narrative.

They did not murder anyone so in context they are irrelvent bit parts. This is about a cop commiting intention murder, lying about it, getting caught and now going to prison for a very long, if far too short, time.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - His partner arrives, doesn't really render much aid to the victim lying on the ground bleeding to death, on a previous call same guy stood by and watched white police officers beat a victim up and said nothing nor did he try to intervene. To me there is a slow aggregation of facts occuring with his partner still on the force and not charged with anything yet.

Sadly those are crimes where the responsiblity to procedure lies with the local goverment. Unless someone can show that those other dirty cops had the intent to deprive the victim of his rights the feds are not able to do much.
