Fort Bliss follows El Paso County's lead, orders halt to non-essential services due to virus...

I am from ElPaso , i live in VA now and they are as of friday according to the director of DHA..LTG Place..they are pushing hard. The City of El Paso is enforcing this to the greatest extent of their powers. They have closed 4 Wal-Mart. on the economy for deep cleaning..it is rampant so wash your hands , sanitize and do your part , stay 6 ft apart. Wear a mask..

We did this back in March. Essential personnel only at work, everyone else teleworked. We cut back on flying, which lowered how many maintainers we needed. It showed that we could 100% do half the things from home that we make everyone come in for.

I get it that they are in the city of El Paso but the base is of its own leadership why should they care what the county is doing.
