Fort Drum Soldier Found Dead, Investigation Launched

Sad news.

Yeah so I never could get my hands around soldiers lending their car out to other Soldiers when I was in service. It is something I would never do. Understand the brotherhood in the Infantry but I also understood at the time the complete lack of age maturity of some of the Soldier's in the MOS. To me, lending out my car was a bridge too far in the trust department, one serious accident is all it takes and your in deep do-do. So would be to give someone a ride that crossed multiple state borders unless I was already headed in that direction.

Very sad news to hear SSG Robert Mark Odom.
