If his trial proves his guilt, he has no place in our community.

This is one of the reasons why the chain of command feels the need to micromanage. We as NCOs, Drill Sergeants especially, need to keep each other in check and be accountable for our actions. As a former Drill Sergeant, I know that some of my trainees went on to OCS and took those lessons to one day take over a Company/Battery/Troop, and they remember how the NCOs were. We cannot allow things like this to happen and must maintain our professional bearing at all times, if at the least to ensure that we are entrusted by our leadership to make sound decisions when we need to.
