BLM: black people are treated more harshly for similar crimes carried out by literally any other race, sometimes while not committing any crime at all. Black people can't stop from being black. It's also pervasive no matter where in the US they go.

As for Blue Lives, it can be pervasive in certain areas, but for the most part they are seen in a positive light. It's an occupation with an implication that it is dangerous, but a career that every LEO ultimately chooses. At the end of the day, they can remove the uniform and most no one can tell. If they no longer like the job, they can quit or they retire.

Yes, all lives matter, that's a given. The reason why black lives matter exists is because they're treated worse for something they cannot change.

Maybe you haven't noticed, I'm more plugged into the LEO community and there is all out war against LEO's right now. More Officers has died in the last 6 months than the last 2 years. Yes our job is hazardous and we accept a certain amount of risk but that is no excuse for the videos, post, and chants for "all cops need to die". Not all of em are connected to BLM, but the name Blue lives matter is just that only a name. Just like Racist killing of blacks is a "hate crime", the same now goes for LEO's. If a group, any group, declares war on LEO's than they are guilty of "hate crimes"

PO3 Ricky Foster - I've noticed, but that can also be seen as a bias. I had always considered hate crime to be crimes for reasons that the individual cannot change. If police officers become a protected class they are essentially elevated above every occupation. And it seems excessive to me to punish more harshly for police officers life and not, say, celebrities who always have stalkers and threats against their lives.

I don't know the exact figures of cops who are killed for being cops, but I would assume it is still lower than minorities who are killed by accident or neglect for minor crimes or no crime at all.

I also want to remind you but it is not pervasive to hate cops.
