How's it partisan hypocrisy? The Democrat leading this charge used Trump as an example of how a politician can be allowed to serve in office with serious allegations of sexual misconduct (none proven or disproven) made. Unless it's a serious crime like actual rape and physical assault that's proven then so what? Punishment should fit the crime right? But I rather hear what his constituents have to say since those are the people he represent; and I don't mean a couple dozen but a good large sample of those American voters he represents.

It clearly is. Sex dirt came out on Franken at the same time it came out on Roy Moore. The Democrats took the high road on Franken so they could use the similar dirt against Moore to help Jones. No way they could back Franken while throwing darts at Moore. Now that Jones beat Moore, some of the Dems that supported Franken's resignation now want him to stay and go through the ethics committee. It suited them at the time to turn their backs on Franken, but now that the fake shunning served its purpose, they want to forgive and forget. How is that not partisan hypocrisy?

SFC J Fullerton - Considering Franken said he would gladly go before Ethic Committee and accept a full investigation of the allegations well before the demand by Dems for his resignation already said plenty. Put the accusers and their witnesses under oath, let the system do it's job, make them public hearings, and then "like Trump" his constituents can decide his fate. Playing the "high road" knowing the opponent just laughs at you as they realize many of the GOP constituents don't care about the "high road" is why Dems are weak. Jones barely won and it had very little to do with morality of voters. Religious Right still voted GOP and Blacks had other motivations for higher than expected turnout and voted Jones. Partisan hypocrisy is the continued defense of Moore and Trump by Conservatives with their denial of the accusers.

A minority of Senators are urging Franken to reverse his resignation, meanwhile the POTUS who has twice as many accusers isn't even considering a resignation. Partisan hypocrisy is Republicans attempting to call out Democrats.

SSG (Join to see) - The Democrats were the ones harking about Moore and how he was unfit for office. Franken admits to in appropriate behavior. But his behavior is so much better than Trumps supposed behavior. Least any one think some people accusing Trump are so proper consider the Matt Lauer roast. Makes Trump “grab em by the p—-ys seem tame. Anal sex with Katie Curric, oral sex with Curry, sodamizing Al Roker.

LTC David Brown - He was unfit for office because he twice refused to fulfill his constitutional obligations and was removed from his position as a justice. The sexual allegations against him were an issue not just for Democrats but for Republicans outside Alabama and the White House as well.

SSG (Join to see) - Moore’s removal was due to Moore’s understanding of separation of Church and state issues. The things the media and press concentrated on were the accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior. Now the Democrats have not just Franken involved in inappropriate sexual behavior but Alcee Hastings . A Hastings accuser got $220,000.00 in tax payer funds. It is interesting the Washington Post could get reporters down to Alabama to investigate Moore but has no interest in Hastings or the other A holes whose victims received over $15million in tax payers funds.

SSG (Join to see) - "What does seem unreasonable is calling Democrats hypocrites while completely ignoring admitted inappropriate behavior on the part of Trump." If you are referring to my comment, I beg to differ. I consider myself neutral and independent of political parties and ideologies. I look at everything objectively, and am an equal opportunity caller of bullshit when I see it. Do not confuse my criticism for Democrats as condonement for the absurdity of the Trump presidency.
