Hero's on the Water. HOW for short is supported by multiple Kayaking and Fishing companies, not to mention a ton of local Kayak clubs. My own club Nor Cal Kayak Anglers supports two chapters, and has done numerous trips with the guys. For those of you who have never gone to a kayak fishing event, the pace is a whole different than a powered boat tournament. a lot of food, good times, and some fishing gets done in there somewhere. For the Vet, it is a chance to be exposed to a new form of recreation, stress reduction, and a chance to enjoy something that puts them on the same footing as the rest of us.
