Very good information. For those of us 'senior citizens' some local city, school district, and country tax jurisdictions also offer a property tax, 'senior', or 'homestead' tax exemption - any or all of which can be of a big help in reducing property tax burden. As the post says, call or check online with yr local tax appraisal district and see what's available.

My house payment went from 1400 to 919 here in Texas
So I am a traveling a lot and wondering if I wanna move
BTW the median home price in my area is 300K and I'm at a golf course and don't golf !
