In memory of my childhood hero. I had an opportunity to appear on his TV show, but as I was going out the door, I cleared my throat and mom said, “Oh! You’re sick! You can’t go!” My counter arguments only made mom angry and me embarrassed... and crying because I missed my one opportunity to meet my hero. God bless you, Gene!
