Anyone who wants to understand Vladimir Putin needs to know what happened to him on a night in Dresden in 1989.

I noticed that everything is about Putin except:
"- But the West thus must help Ukraine make Russia fail on the battlefield faster."
Not sure I agree with that.
I like the comment of one of the folks made:
"severe economic pressure that needs to go up 10X to a total and complete trade blockade. This also means closed borders to all travel and traffic, visa cancellations, seizures of property and deportations of all its citizens. The sanctions need to apply to all their upper and middle class."
The way Putin is profiled more or less shouts that classic U.S.S.R perspective, that he grew up during the Cold War. I suppose some of us sound like we did too. I know, I do, because I did.
