Very perceptive, to my way of thinking...obviously, of course, that's only my own perspective, certainly...however, I do actually and very definitely agree with his thoughts on the matter...I don't deny their inherent convenience, however, I do also think in no small measure that they can, in fact, to no small degree, actually be psychologically addictive, in point of fact...I know I'll be disagreed with, of course, however, I have likewise reached that same conclusion....

Well It seemed to me that you were walking on egg shells while making your post, when in fact I think you are spot on. Even though I served well before the cell phone era I look at the young adults in the school I am associated with and it vexes me. Life would end if their phone were to be cut off, in fact the depression level that one goes through is amazing (watching the students cry because the phone is not working). Now as far as the military is concerned it is up to the commanders to decide when and where the troops use the devices, much like the Walkman of my era.

The General has good point. Are we ready to confront well trained and organized force with similar capabilities.
