I'm just curious...I'd seen your stuff on here, and wondered if you had anyone on Long Island at all, outside of NYC? I can't get into the city, I'm afraid, I've gotten down from 342 lbs, to about 280-290-lbs, then went up again, seesawing, to 311 lbs, then managed to get back to 270 lbs, I'm using an extremely accurate clinical scale...I'm prior doctoral level allied health, I've made use of VA cardiac rehab near us, however, your stuff seriously interested me...I also did aikido and iaido fairly regularly, I'm total perm disabled now, also, I tore my right rotator cuff a cpl of yrs ago, though it healed...I'd be most obliged to know if you've got anyone near us, I'd also used an external lap band, that did in fact work...my wife and I have considered bariatric surgery, however, lap bands are obviously not as easily reversible as one might think, due to fibrosis over the band, plus, sleeve gastrectomy, while I've been told and read in serious clinical journal articles I've researched, can have numerous complications, aside from losing 80% of stomach volume...a family friend had a full roux-en-Y gastric bypass, with serious astric adhesions, I'm well aware of such procedures, I assisted while in residency before we shut my license sevl yrs ao with some 200-300 surgeries of mult types, so trust me, I've researched the whole thing quite thoroughly...I swim seriously during summers, I also bike, though not as often as I could, admittedly, I can swim for sevl hours at a time doing laps, I've had extensive cardiac history due to my weight, which, fortuitously, we've managed to control, at least for now, however, your help and/or advice would obviously be most welcome, whenever you might possibly have time at all, many thanks....
