TN gets that hot in the summer?

Very amusing video. Now, how about off hand with iron sights?

A Red Dot sight for the pistol is a bit of a reach for me.

In my mind, using a ‘stand’ for the rifle takes the skill away?

Back when I was shooting bullseye pistol competition I would have done well on the pistol using iron sights. We also shot one handed. Eyes not working as well now.

I think it depends on the distance with a stand you do get a lot of help but YOU still have to line it up!

Well he has me beat as far as pistols go, but I will shoot with anybody with rifles iron sights. That is what I grew up with starting at about 6 years old.

My Dad had me out on the range almost as soon as I could stand. I say the range but it was really out in the woods on properties he owned and his friends owned that had those old farm junk piles! Literally thousands of targets including live fire at running rats! The result was I tied the Champion shooter of Marinette county when I was 10 years Old. He was 40ish and very pissed off when I beat him 5 out of 5 BTW. Long Rifle 30-30, Shotgun, 22 Octogon rifle, German Mauser. All Iron Sites.
