We opened our shop... as planned... in August 2020.
I can tell you this much; it's been "challenging". I chose late summer to open because ordinarily, this season heralds our three largest events downtown, "Hooray for Harriman", the "Hauntings of Harriman", and the "Harriman Christmas Tour of Homes". This year, most all of these have been cancelled, or severely altered by COVID-19. We've managed to keep "Friday Nights on Roane Street" alive... but barely. Total profits for our first month's operations were less than $500. We also planned opening to coincide with our child starting school... now, he's hanging out in the shop as our "Director of Business Development" (LOL).
We're hanging in there though... and hoping we'll be able to keep open going into 2021.
