animosity against Israel from Biden and top Democratic leaders has crossed the line—and pushed him to register as a Republican for the first time.
"That’s not because things are perfect in the Republican Party, they’re not," said Hikind. "But the Democratic Party, forget it, they’ve gone off a cliff."
From a NY Lifelong Democrat, saying that they've gone off a cliff is one of the most telling things about the party. It says a lot about those driving the Democrats in general. If you lose NY democrats with your policies, those policies are beyond the pale.

People need to learn how to precisely say what they mean, instead of making overly general statements that will be interpreted negatively. Few in government have honed that skill when it comes to not agreeing with the policies of the government of Israel.
Any criticism of Israel's government policies results in accusations of "anti-semitism" when the fact is speaking about government policies has nothing to do with negatively speaking about Judaism, or Jewish people. There is also the "self-hating Jews" accusation that is leveled when non-Israeli Jewish folks know enough about the actual circumstances in Israel to criticize Israel's policies. It is simply an effort to shut people up, and marginalize any valid criticism, and it almost always works on folks in government who remain clueless about precise relevant details.
