Reposted. The Trumpublicans don't actually want to DO anything about the border. They would much rather have the problem as a wedge issue and something to complain about.

The bill would have legalized the entry of a large number that would not qualify for legal immigration. Screw that noise. It was a mistake when Reagan did it. Now I think we need to up the punishment for employers that hire illegals, but if you aren't legal, you need to go home.

We don't view all Republicans equally. I know a lot of folks are bat-shit-fucking-pissed that Brandon Herrera (AK Guy on YouTube) lost to Tony Gonzales and equally pissed at Greg Abbott for openly endorsing Tony as well.
