GOP senators must curb Trump: Ross K. Baker

Some time ago, a squadron sized unit I am familiar with, was sick. Unit cohesion and discipline was breaking down at an alarming rate. Mission critical operations failure was growing imminent. The bad actors were many and those responsible refused to acknowledge the problems.
What ended up happening...
Command sent in a heavy weight to clean things up. It was a shock and awe operation, months in the planning but executed with amazing precision.
What it looked like, to outsiders, was a random, chaotic series of people not showing up for work, people having hushed conversations in back rooms and outside. Then the strangers with high rank, started showing up. Some with Pentagon badges. This was no joke. The grownups arrived and the children started to go away to boarding schools, if you get my meaning.
My point is this:
What President Trump promised the American people was a shake-up in Washington. He didn't promise anesthesia for this operation. In fact, he promised it was going to hurt, but that the pain would eventually subside and we could all relax.
We didn't hire President Trump to keep us all in the dark and pretend everything is okay. We didn't hire President Trump to pass out pacifiers and Quaaludes. We hired him to "drain the swamp". The patients in this operation should either undergo treatment with honor, heal, become rehabilitated and part of the solution; or they need to go away to boarding school or their respective political hospice.
It is an extreme dishonor for a U.S.Military person, to join the subversives on any side that seek to warp anyone's loyalty and devotion to your country and it's elected leaders. Put on your big-boy/girl pants and brace yourselves for all manner of persuasion directed at you. Do your job, stay neutral, defend your fellow soldiers, sailors, airman and marines, your family's, your fellow Americans... Defend the constitution. Not someone else's notion of the constitution. Trust in your command. Lean on them for your direction.
We have three branches of Government. A separation of powers. Donald J. Trump is the CIC of the Armed Forces of the United States. We trust him to do right by you. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise. We got this!

This ought to be a treat to see them try to curb the president.

We the People must curb all members of Congress who stand in the way of"draining the swamp"
