Government shutdown furloughs all 700 non-essential employees

Much ado about nothing. Been through many as military and civil service.

They will all get back pay. I remember when they had the last shut down. I worked the nearly 2 weeks because I was considered essential. The rest of the staff had almost a 2 week vacation and got back pay.
