We were activated here in MD last week and it's been interesting to say the least. Right now, there's no mission for my particular unit but that will most likely change. When our unit was called into action during the Baltimore riots, there was mass confusion and the pay actually sucked. You worked your butt off and barely made minimum wage. They've now fixed it to where you get paid your ranks base pay and type II BAH. They've learned a few lessons but on these mass call ups, it's chaos for the first week or two until everyone settles into a routine.
