Let me get this straight. The senator is suggesting that a government employee leak a classified investigation about a government employee leaking classified information. You can't make this stuff up.

LTC (Join to see) - Colonel; It would be rather tough to prove a charge of "Soliciting a Breach of Government Confidentiality", but, I agree, your observation is one to think on.

Its long been speculated that If the DOJ does not bring charges or the FBI is told to cover things up that the FBI Director and a large part of the upper management would expose this and resign. Maybe there is some truth to all of it. People are fools if they believe this President and the DOJ aren't trying to do a cover-up and people on the other side that proclaim all there theories are just as big a fool. My own opinion is she broke the law and The president is putting pressure to cover it up and the FBI is pushing back so he is on eggshells. I guess he will have a bomb to drop in his first book out of the Whitehouse. I guess he can title it. "How I covered for HRC"

When asked by Radio Iowa reporter O. Kay Henderson after the breakfast if he was suggesting the FBI should leak investigative findings, Grassley expounded on his comment.

“I wouldn’t be encouraging it because if it’s a violation of law, I can’t be encouraging a violation of law,” he said. “This is kind of my own opinion, this is something I’ve heard.”

He doesn't have Hillary's unique ability to mimic the stereotype black speech pattern, so he had to do the best he could with what he had.
