23DEC16, President Obama signed into law the 2017 NDAA which "Waives the statutory time limitation to allow the President to award the MoH to Gary M. Rose, who served in the Army during the Vietnam War." This is particularly important as SGT Rose and others on Operation TAILWIND were slandered by Time/CNN's bias in the 90s.

Hard not to support common-sense verbiage in the NDAA that allows for recognizing the folks in the special operations community.
