I don’t think so. Jarrett may have a law degree, but is just another talking head. He’s an idiot.
What the FBI is doing is performing due diligence. Due diligence is nothing more than taking an action considered to be reasonable for the FBI to be expected to take in order to keep the US safe. This is in keeping with the mission of the FBI:
“To protect the American people and uphold the Constitution of the United States.”
It’s not to protect POTUS.

MSgt Neil Greenfield Just as much as you disrespect Mr Garrets facts because of your disdain for his title of having a law degree, then I will disregard your opinion of the inegrity of the FBI because you assertion and foundation is not based on the merits or the correlation of the facts to the causality to the gnosis of the FBI's corruption, but you dogmatic dismissal of fact because of generated excuses like, "I don't like someone's law degree"

Cpl Benjamin Long Nope. I don’t disdain his law degree. I work with a number of lawyers frequently, including General Counsels. It’s his “opinion” I have disdain for.

Yes, I know. The link is from the FBI, but the facts about their authority can be viewed elsewhere.

Where is the FBI’s authority written down?
The FBI has a range of legal authorities that enable it to investigate federal crimes and threats to national security, as well as to gather intelligence and assist other law enforcement agencies.

MSgt Neil Greenfield - Not questioning their authority, questioning the evidence they used to exert their authority.
