Did Palin sue ABC News for running a story in 2011 drawing links between Palin and Gifford? The craziest thing about editorials is the fact they are "opinion" pieces of commentary. Read the NYT editorial "America's Lethal Politics" and the opinion of the author was that the Right wing PAC in question was an example of heated political rhetoric. Will be interesting to see if the court rules opinion commentary as defamation of public figures; that will set precedent for more lawsuits since MSM is filled with editorial commentary that defames public figures.
