More importantly, the recording of General Flynn's conversations without a Court Order is a larger crime than the leak.

Someone very high up in the Obama Administration (because that is the time this occurred) ordered the illegal wiretapping of the incoming administration. When they really start to peel back the layers on this onion, it is going to get very ugly, very quick.

On the upside, people will never again utter the phrase "Watergate" as this is going to totally eclipse the Watergate incident in terms of political corruption.

Col Jim Harmon - The left is trying to tag the Trump administration with the Watergate label, trying to make it stick. I think you are right, that the Watergate label will be used, and will stick, but it will stick to the Obama administration.

Depends... It can be recorded while targeting an international person outside the US, without the intention of recording a US citizen on the other side of the phone call (i.e. inadvertent). Releasing it though (regardless of whether they intended to record Flynn or not), is HIGHLY illegal. Watergate was a an example of jaywalking compared to this.

Do we know there was NOT a FISA court order?
The existence of FISA orders are normally protected.

Do we know that US electronics intercepts capabilities were involved, or was it non-US capabilities?

LTG Flynn was reportedly vacationing with his wife in the Dominican Republic in December when some of these phone conversations with Ambassador Kislyak occurred; does that make a difference in an American's right to privacy? Were LTG Flynn's phone conversations encrypted? If so, would that raise red flags with our nation's counter-intelligence operations?

My informed opinion: if you are in a position with access to the highest levels of classified information, always assume your phone calls, emails, and social media posts are being monitored. Hopefully, monitored by just the US, but if communicating with foreign nationals, also by their nations' capabilities.
And especially if you are traveling outside of the USA.

When they round up the suspects, and they will, you will see an immediate willingness to negotiate, they will sing like canaries, in turn, that will lead exactly to the traitors who instigated this breach of classified information which they used to further an agenda, a progressive/democratic/leftist/liberal agenda.
The investigation should proceed and then go back, eight years earlier to an incoming administration, having Legal/Illegal meetings with the iranians, we need to ask ourselves here had the Bush administration authorized the wiretaps of these citizens, what would they have found, follow valerie jarrett, follow the money. Seems as though iran is the key behind this here treason...

The two least talked about aspects in the liberal media but most important aspects about this situation are the criminality of leaking, and the actual harm it has done to our ability to gather intel. For the sake of scoring some political points, some asshats have jeopardized our ability to collect intel from Russians by listening in to their phone conversations.
