Grueling Navy SEAL training defended, questioned after death

Very unfortunate death. The sailor should not have been allowed to enter training as an asthmatic with an enlarged heart and poor swimming skills. An asthmatic with an enlarged heart and poor swimming skills would most likely die or suffer severe injuries from standard Marine basic training, swim qual, MCMAP, or combat training. This individual should have been protected by a medical examination and a basic swim qual before training. Former Seals vouched that the instructor was utilizing standard training techniques. At this point it does not look like the instructor committed murder.
