Crime has advanced, but it has always been there. I'd caution against making it seem like a spiralling problem new to the world.

MGySgt (Join to see) not new and spiralling to the world out of control, technology has just made it more invasive on individuals in their homes and place of work. It seems that being jacked on the street is old school and boring making people like me not be as vigilant as I should. Remember the Will Smith, Gene Hackman, Jon Voight movie, Enemy of the State? Well I still watch it often and wonder who is peeking at me through my smart TV.
