Though with all the hardware on that place, I could kinda see why it might sink a little, I suppose...I've heard he analogy of it and Wake Island basically being kinda like permanently anchored aircraft carriers, you know?

I'm sure they detected it and everyone at a fiesta on the other side of the island just jumped all at once and leveled it all back out. Gotta love what a belly full of Chicken Kelaguen and Red Rice can do in a pinch!

You know, it:s kinda funny you mention that...one of tenguys in my first class at USAF OTS, I had to go through twice, I got recycled once, had been from Guam...that was the onoy time I'd ever !et someone from there...just figured I'd !mention it, interesting guy, he told myself and others a good deal about the place as part of practice giving presentations, while I'd been in the program at Lackland, back when dinosaurs row!ed the Earth, before it moved to Maxwell....

The food there was great. That's one thing I really miss. They even served it sometimes at public schools for lunch. Salisbury steak and Red Rice; American and local cuisine, all on one tray. AWESOME.

Interesting, I'd kinda jeardnthat, I'd heard a lot of the Arctic places, like Thule AB in Greenland of Iceland, is kinda like that...they kinda adopt the same philosophy about diversion as with the sub crews, I've heard it's actually an interesting place, as you'd described....
