Vice President Kamala Harris, when asked again in an interview Tuesday how she would be different from President Joe Biden, offered a word salad on the "significance of what this next generation of leadership looks like." Earlier that day, Harris said she would not have done anything differently than Biden.
"I'm obviously not Joe Biden. But it's important to say with 28 days to go, I'm not Donald Trump," Harris said on Stephen Colbert’s Late Show Tuesday evening, responding to the question of what "major changes" she'd make from the Biden presidency. "When we think about the significance of what this next generation of leadership looks like were I to be elected president. It's about, frankly, I love the American people. I believe in our country. … I just believe that we can create and build upon the success we achieved in a way to continue to grow opportunity," she said.
