Interesting. I think the pay raise is not enough. We've fallen behind inflation for the past several years. We need several years of raises ABOVE inflation just to catch up.

Even a 2.4% raise would be one of the largest raises since the previous Republican was in office. I could be wrong, but I don't remember 2.5 or higher during the Obama years. Does that sound right?

I think in the beginning of the Obama years we may have gotten close to 3%, but I'm not certain. Definitely 2.4 is the highest in several years though.
