This is an interesting video and supporting articles. I'd like to see further analysis of what would happen if we followed the suggested courses of action. I believe a lot, but certainly not all, of the infrastructure is in place that would allow for transporting the natural gas (methane) via pipeline to power plants, local utilities, vehicle supply stations and places inland. The electrical grid in most developed nations is greatly interconnected and could probably be modified to transport power from the coastlines. The geothermal energy source is literally right under our feet waiting to be tapped. I enjoy reading these types of articles and white papers to see what types of projects people are developing. Some are ingenious and need to advance beyond ideas and get to implementation so I hope the economics are there to make it happen.
