The most rational first step is to repeal the ACA. It is destroying the healthcare industry and sapping our financial strength. Second, is to repeal those laws and regulations that created most of the problems that Democrats the ACA was going to "fix". Once these two things are done, private enterprise will be free to work on real solutions which We the People will pick and choose from to fit our individual needs. A GOP effort to replace the ACA only proves that they are as delusional as the Dems in believing that government can "fix" anything. Their combined efforts only break more things that they will attempt to fix and then break even more

Sir, the most sensible step is for the People to enforce the Constitution and those powers not delegated to the Federal Government are reserved to the States.... that would be a start.

Is there a single instance that the government has fixed anything that is known to be a failing program. The GAO identifies them all the time, but nothing happens. ACA is FUBAR and we are just tweaking it. Repeal it, with a time frame to bring in something acceptable to the nation and that we can afford.

I'd really like to see McConnell kill the filibuster. If Senators want to filibuster a bill, let them do it the old fashioned way and stand at podium and talk until their throats are too sore to talk and their legs won't hold them any longer.
