Support the Hearing Protection Act
In 2011, the American Suppressor Association formed with one primary goal in mind: remove suppressors from the purview of the National Firearms Act. For years, we worked behind the scenes in Washington, D.C. to set the stage for Rep. Salmon’s Hearing Protection Act of 2015 (H.R. 3799, S. 59). Following Rep. Salmon’s retirement from the legislature, the bill has gained new primary sponsors who have reintroduced it.

Would be a nice addition to my .243.
Should reduce the sound by 1/2. Hopefully more.

I have personally fired a 5.56 and the sound is roughly that of a .22 long rifle. Quite pleasant to shoot with no ear muffs.

Anyone hare the same sentiment as me that the cost of suppressor a is ridiculous!? And that if this act is passed the prices will come down?

MSG Tim Gray In those countries where suppressors are not controlled by government, you can pick one up for about half of what they are selling for in the US, deregulation will increase the competition and lower the price. Have you contacted your elected representative and asked that they support this bill?
