Here’s the list of military units headed to the border

Normally I would resist sharing troop types publicly, but since the operation at the southern border is an operation other than war, and has been publicly discussed, I think sharing the types of troops being sent to deal with the invading hoard is imperative, especially in light of the fact that 99 percent of the reporting about these troops give the impression that combat arms are being deployed in a defensive move. Quite the contrary, any military person reviewing this list will quickly understand that the President is sending troops to deal with potentially big numbers of asylum seekers. The troops being deployed are combat support and combat service support troops, notably Military Police, who have myriad specialties including movement control, detention operations, law enforcement, riot control and many others. Also being deployed are medical, preventive medical and environmental units, sustainment and logistics units, public support, signal, human resources, public affairs, combat camera, engineers, press camp, quartermaster, transportation, and on, and on. This is a humanitarian operation, not a military combat operation like so many on the left, including former president Obama are trying to make it seems. Please share this artticle with military and civilian friends and family. Please talk about how the military are primarily involved because they can handle large groups of people, such as was the case during the Haitian and Cuban crises in the 1990's, and the detention operation at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Anyone who crosses the border illegally, but seeking asylum will be detained, given a court appearance, and processed according to the law. There will NOT be catch and release. There will NOT be an open border. There will not be free passage to sanctuary cities. Americans don't want our borders closed, we want our borders CONTROLLED, and that is exactly what this President is doing along with the professional and expert services of the finest military on earth.
