Back when Twitter first came on the scene the billed themselves as a micro-blog service. So, what is that? What is a blog? It was originally defined as a publication and usually followed the workflow of Draft -> Editor -> Publisher. Actual roles given to people within an organization. As time went on a single person became the Drafter, Editor and Publisher. Therefore, Twitter was first envisioned as a PUBLISHING platform where authors were legally liable for what they published.

All of these platforms, especially now when they do internal fact checking and release (Editor & Publisher roles) prove to me that they are indeed publishers. They are not a service platform like they want us to think. The sooner politicians realize this and open the way for defamation suits as well as 1st amendment rights abuses the sooner the dark nodes will start to disappear.

We are a nation founded on PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. So, let each person feel the negative affects of not taking responsibility for what they publish.

We are now fighting against 2 States who want to control our lives. The Government one we are all used to and the technology (business) state that wants to spoon feed us. This is exactly why large States do not work!

Chase hate down and root it out wherever you find it - and especially within the pages of Rallypoint.

So, violate 1st amendment rights is what I hear you saying. Riot and burn and kill is what I hear you saying. Only certain people have rights is what I am hearing you say. And by who's definition of hate?
