I wonder why "phobia" is bandied about so much when used as a suffix. One would think that the usage of a word such as "dislike" would be more accurate in portraying a person's feeling on the subject.
In this example I think that the sight of a hijab doesn't cause people to experience extreme, irrational fears (phobias).
