Maybe they should all just go hide in their pillow forts for the rest of their lives.

Some people do take this too far, but this is really no different than warning a veteran with PTSD that there will be fireworks. Would you call a vet suffering from PTSD a whimpering blob? No, probably not because you may be able to relate to that experience. Same way someone who has been a victim of sexual assault that may appreciate a heads up that the environment they are about to enter may discuss the topic of sexual assault.

The main question is, why do you have a problem with this? Again, to clarify, there are a lot of people who take this concept too far, but there are many traumatic events that people can experience that could cause them PTSD.

All the comments are like: "Pussy generation", and "Generation Wuss". So, I guess we should just tell all vets with PTSD that they ought to suck it up and stop being whimpering blobs.

Like, imagine if you had a friend who was raped and you all were going to go see a movie and in the movie they depicted rape. Would you warn your friend that this may happen? If they didn't want to go see it would you make fun of them?

Sorry but a "vet suffering from PTSD" who has those issues because of a significant event in a combat theater of operations is no not to be equated with someone who falls down sucking their thumbs because they hear "bad words" at a Presidential debate.

Had you read any of my previous posts you would know that I do not assign the pejoratives you mentioned to the current generation. Point in fact, I've actually praised the generation that has given us a large bulk of the MOH recipients since the Vietnam era. As my millennial nephew and niece are currently serving, I've stated many times that I do not care for the aspersion cast on them merely because of their generational peers.

So if you'd like to misconstrue my words, that's not a me issue as much as it it a you issue.

Here is an example the delicate snowflakes I hate.

MSG (Join to see) - I understand you didn't say that, that's why I said it was in the comments.

As I said earlier: "Again, to clarify, there are a lot of people who take this concept too far". I have seen that video and it is asinine and terrible and a lot of these legitimate things get hijacked by people who think it is cool to do it.

PTSD is PTSD whether it is a result of combat or sexual assault.

I don't think I misconstrued your words. You called them whimpering blobs.
