Holiday travel is horrific and it is to be avoided at all costs. I used to fly a lot and when I did, I noticed a few holiday travel patterns. There were always people who tried and failed to make it home for Christmas, don't be that person. Don't book the last flight into a town, something always happens to that plane. It will blow out a tire, the flight crew will get sick, a computer malfunction, something will screw up that last minute flight Just dont book that flight.
