Drone view of Holy Hill, a Catholic minor basillica built by Irish Immigrants that sits high above the Southeastern Wisconsin farmlands on a 340 foot tall glacial hill. The holy site has origins traceable as far back as 1674 via Indian Tribes whose folklore tells of a Chief in black robes (Jesuit Missionary) that used to pray at the top of the hill. Later a cross and altar and finally a Basicalla was built there. On a clear sunny day the steeples can be seen for miles and miles in every direction. Approaching the site by car is also rather dramatic because of the steep conical glacial hill it is built on top of (called Mt. Carmel).
