The entire leftist goal was summed up in the first two words of their childish chant, "No borders ...".
They persevere in the communist dream of a single world socialist government, a "worker's paradise".
Their actions most certainly should have resulted in their arrest. The videos should be used as evidence against them, if they want a trial.

I disagree with the last comment. We should expose the hypocrisy of the Left and always act peaceful and respectful. The folks in America see the Democrats for the filth they are and their double standards. Let the ballot box become our battlespace and win the war on ideals and solutions there while the Left commences their culture war on America.

There was a time when decent values and norms were respected by the majority of the people. Barbarian conduct like this was not only condemned, but punished. But times changed. And the ideology of certain politicians changed.
Back in the 60’s and 70’s, the Army’s Intel School had a block of instruction on communist ideology. I found the supplemental reading material for that course some time back while looking through old books. It was interesting to read it again… particularly the part covering Lenin’s “modifications” to Marx’s teachings. This section was as relevant today (perhaps even MORE relevant today) than it was when it was written in 1961.
I doubt that this block of instruction is provided today. In an environment where people who have “dared” to discuss the ideology behind Islamic extremists and terrorists are drummed out of the service, I would think that a critique of the ideology espoused by a large number of our “politicians” might be considered an even greater “offense”.
Be that as it may, the people calling themselves “progressives” are merely using a euphemism for communism. Many calling themselves “liberal” are doing the same thing. But what we are seeing today is the rage of communists who tasted 8 years of being in power in the executive branch and who can’t tolerate the idea of not remaining in power. This is why they have found the need to finance and unleash the “attack dogs”. It’s a desperate act, fueled by spite, hatred and the usual irrational savagery that characterizes these creatures (“people” somehow doesn’t fit).
To the extent that the disturbing of the peace and disorderly conduct is left unpunished, we should expect to see it continue. And if this happens sufficiently, then we should also expect it to go beyond disorderly conduct and become unprovoked aggression. ANTIFA, a socialist/fascist organization that is being financed and goaded into action by “progressives” and “liberals” alike, are already at this stage.
At some point, some people will resort to self-defense… and these savages will foam at the mouth, whining and screaming and trying to pass themselves off as “victims” of the “oppression” and “violence” coming from the people they viciously attack. Be prepared for that, too.
The pattern of action of these savages is actually quite predictable. All you have to know is the techniques and tactics of the people who pull their strings. So with a lapdog media waiting to feed the public whatever story is deemed favorable for the savages, the more these things get covered, the more we will see copy-cat actions throughout the country.
It’s going to get ugly.
