This is a terrible thing. First the attacker was delusional to the extent that he believed that the damage from the attack would immediately transfer to Gov. Cuomo's skull. Second that the attacker was so incompetent that he was only able to inflict lacerations with a cinder block.

Don't take me the wrong way, I am truly glad that she wasn't more badly injured. But good lord if you were to put a target in front of me with a cinderblock in my hand, I guarantee you that poor soul would have more than a non-life threatening laceration. Then there is the report of the "two inch deep wound". Two inches deep on the skull is all the way into the parietal or occipital lobe (brain matter) if struck from behind. Who wants to bet that Cuomo will make the attack all about "him" and how "dangerous" it is to be "him"? Poor woman, I wonder what they offered her to be a sacrificial goat?
