Can we get off the Trump-hate discussions for a little while to discuss something really important, something we might actually do something about. Homeless veterans are a black mark on our society. We are letting down those who gave so much for us, asked little, and received even less...

County, state and federal facilities are empty and deteriorating, many built to accommodate many people. Why these aren't refurbished to accept homeless of all stripe? We have homeless shelters that usually have space available, but many chose to not live there. Even though they have room service similar to a hotel/motel. If funds were used more effectively, homelessness could nearly be eliminated for those who want temporary help.
