PVT James Strait - I used to sail tall ships (you know, square riggers, climbing the masts and all that) and had female topmast sailors alongside me. Our differing physiologies gave us unique advantages and disadvantages. For example, women could climb better and hang out on the yards with greater ease because of their greater lower body strength and lower center of gravity. Men could haul greater weights with their arms because of their greater upper body strength. It's not about prejudice. It's all about physiology. The trick for leaders is to recognize those differences and take advantage of them.
