Yeah, I actually thought it good enough to keep...the ending, as I'd said, was quite well done, so much so, I was actually willing to overlook all the quite obvious historical errors, as well, esp given the caliber of the acting....

And the musical score near and at the end, combined with the visuals, were, I'd found, highly evocative....

I thought that it is great movie! As said, the acting is on point. I love westerns but I don't know about the inaccuracies, but it is "based" on a true story. I liked how, no matter his former thinking, the true caliber of a good man came out.

I follow...I'd seen a YouTube video on the historical inaccuracies, many of which I'd realized as I'd watched it, the dating was far too late in the 19th century, plus, there was no need for such long horse trips in the late 1890s as railways were quite well developed in the US at that point, in addn to the Cheyenne having been conquered for the most part, I gathered, about a decade or so earlier, apparently....

As I'd said, certainly for the sheer caliber of the acting involved, I'm afraid the historical errors, as I'd mentioned, werefairly overt, though, of course, that wasn't the principal object of the film, evidently, it was more intended as a character study, I'd found....
