Smoke and mirrors for the election coming. Look how much we are doing- when the real issues are not getting fixed. Term limits. Vote for change and send the message.

SGM Steve Wettstein This comment right here nails it. They knew that they were issuing a subpoena for something that the AG could not legally give them. It was a pathetic attempt to put him in a catch 22 and the AG and president's legal team saw and squashed. This is a form of pandering.

MCPO Roger Collins - absolutely not. Not until we learn that we actually have the power and quit being complacent. Our history shows we gravitate to the path of least resistance or in this case the one that we know. Why would Congress bite the proverbial hand....

All they have to do is fix the Supeona power here, mandate that Supeonas be issued only as a last resort, that they be bi-partisian and signed off by majority lead of each party, that the supeona is clearly written and passes a basic legal test of it being "lawful". Add those three requirements and the supeonas issued by Congress would be reported on and taken more seriously.

I responded to this elsewhere. I said they should put their vote where the sun doesn't shine... I stand by that.

Damn. I didn't see it posted before. I hate seeing multiple posts on the same subject. Also, thank you for your reply.

This whole effort is a twofer, payback and conditioning the field of battle for the upcoming 2020 election.
