7 years, no plan. Motioned and voted repeal over 70 times, nothing. Control White House and Congress, so why don't they vote one more time like they did before on multiple occasions and forget about this budget reconciliation bill (phase 1)? Trump will easily sign it. That's right, unlike the Dems, GOP never had an end goal for healthcare for Americans; only tax cuts and profit making capitalism for businesses. Welfare of American citizens is an individual responsibility. Win or lose, Trump has nothing to lose, like he said in an interview, he's already the president.

If this bill did what Trump and the repubs said their healthcare plan would do, that is provide insurance for more people and at lower premiums than Obamacare, than it would pass easily and even get some democratic votes. But it doesn't. It's that simple. They all said they would replace it with something better, but so far they haven't been able to come up with anything better. After all these years, they are left with doing the same thing they accused the dems of doing--trying to force a vote on a bill that has just been drastically changed in the last 24 hours, no one has actually had a chance to read or study the changes, they called no witnesses in their hearings to give input, and the CBO hasnt even scored the version they will vote on because the changes were made so late. And for sure the American people havent had a chance to weigh in on all the new amendments agreed to during late night, closed door dealmaking sessions.
So now it has been reduced to a pure political power play--either vote for this bill, despite the fact that it screws the American people, or face a withdrawal of financial support and presidential support in your next election.

Trump said we would win so much that we would get tired of winning, he just had the wrong "we"' in mind.
