I concur with House Veterans' Affairs Committee chairman Rep. Jeff Miller SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that if Donald Trump is elected as the next President the Commission on Care's recommendations that the VA augment its medical capabilities by creating a system of public and private health networks that would treat veterans outside VA would have a much better chance of being implemented.
Hilary Rodham Clinton would do her best to ensure government control of the VA. She is a staunch union supporter and based on everything she has committed to since 1992 I am certain she would table everything which had a chance of rolling back government control in favor of private enterprise.

She had plans to cut to bare minimum Vet Benefits and only 100% disabled (that means in a bed and in diapers and having intravenenal feeding would get a compensated package back then. Thanking the Good Savior for making sure we got the President that we got !

I suppose that depends on what you consider "reform". If you mean privatization of VA Medical, that idea is dead on arrival. If you're talking about expanding the Veteran's Choice Act, we can barely afford it now. Try to expand it without cutting some VA benefits (which I consider unacceptable) and the entire system collapses. If Congress truly has a desire to “fix” the VA, they have to quit throwing money at the problem and literally rebuild the system. Every time there is a scandal Congress applies a patch. A true fix requires an upgrade … not a patch.
